Police investigating a fatal car crash in North Canterbury say pot holes are being looked at as a possible cause.
Linda Joy Glendenning, 20, was killed when she lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree on South Eyre Road, near Kaiapoi, on 30 April.
Inspector Al Stewart said pot holes were definitely part of the investigation, but it was too early to say whether they were the cause.
Investigations are continuing.
