Convicted murderer back in prison

A convicted murderer is back behind bars after she pleaded guilty to two charges of breaching prison release conditions.

Daniella Bowman appeared in the Wellington District Court today where she admitting breaking a curfew imposed when she was paroled, smoking cannabis and drinking alcohol.

Bowman was 17 when she and two other young women fatally attacked Raymond Mullins at his Auckland home in 1999.

Bowman was jailed for life, but was paroled this year on conditions including not drinking alcohol or taking illicit drugs.

She was arrested after breaching the conditions.

A Probation Officer told the Court a report showed Bowman was at serious risk of reoffending.

She was sentenced to two months in jail - one for each charge.
