A Hawera man has been charged in relation to the death of jogger DeAnne Cooper in Taranaki earlier this year.
The 36-year-old mother-of-three was running on Ohangai Road, south of Normanby, on 26 May when she was hit by a car.
Detective Guy Jackson said a 29-year-old man has been charged with aggravated careless driving causing death.
He will appear in the Hawera District Court on 7 October.
