Two people killed after the car they were in collided with a milk tanker on Friday night have been named.
They were Jade Wi, 20, and Ashley Clements, 22.
Both are believed to have been living in Te Aroha, but were from Bay of Plenty.
The crash happened on State Highway 26, between Tatuanui and Waitoa just before 7.30pm.
The tanker driver was unhurt in the head-on crash.
A week earlier a milk tanker driver died on the same stretch of road after his vehicle crashed into a culvert, following a medical incident.
