Wellington businessman Terry Serepisos has been discharged from bankruptcy.

He had been declared in September 2011 and lost ownership of the Phoenix football team that month.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment said the Official Assignee lodged an objection to clearing Mr Serepisos in September, but on receiving further information has cleared him today.
The spokesperson said concerns that prompted the objection have been satisfied and Mr Serepisos is no longer under any restrictions previously placed upon him by the Insolvency Act.
