Police say an 11-year-old girl who ran away from her home on Auckland's North Shore last night has been found "safe and well".
Search and rescue teams spent the night looking for Emillierose Ah Kuoi after she went missing in Beach Haven at about 11pm.
Police said the girl was found at a friend's house a short time ago.
Police are appealing to boaties north of Auckland to help in the search for a missing fisherman. Nicholas Stubbs went fishing with a friend last week and his body has not been found.
