Police in Hawke's Bay have seized methamphetamine worth $175,000 in an operation this week.
They also found $310,000 buried underground along with two pistols in the raid on a farm on the Napier to Taupo road.
A 53-year-old man was arrested and appeared in court charged with supplying methamphetamine.
The man was granted interim name suppression and remanded in custody.
Around 25 police staff were involved in the operation, including the Armed Offenders Squad.
A dawn raid involving 40 officers including the Armed Offenders Squad has led to the arrest of four suspected gang members in Nelson.
Methamphetamine said to be worth more than $100,000 has been seized in a raid in Northland. Police say it was found along with a manufacturing lab, a pistol and $21,000 in cash.
