A Hamilton person won more than $16 million on the Lotto last night.
The winning ticket was sold at a Countdown supermarket in the city.
The prize was made up of $16 million from Powerball First Division and $250,000 from Lotto First Division.
In September a Feilding couple from won over $7 million with Powerball and an Auckland man won $20 million with Big Wednesday.
