The son of convicted murderer Helen Milner has been told he must remain behind bars following a bail hearing at the Christchurch District Court today.
Adam Kearns, whose mother was jailed for life earlier this year for murdering husband Philip Nisbet, appeared via video link from Christchurch Men's Prison.
He was arrested last week on firearms and drugs charges.
Judge Brian Callaghan refused Mr Kearns' bail application and remanded him in custody until 4 December.
