A vehicle involved in a hit-and-run in Whangamata last night is being sought.
Police said a woman was clipped by a northbound vehicle between 8pm and 9pm as she walked south along Tairua Road on State Highway 25, near the Whangamata sewage treatment ponds.
She was flown to Waikato Hospital with moderate injuries.
Police said they would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or had knowledge of the vehicle involved.
They said he woman was wearing black jogging pants and a pink T-shirt.
