Police have found the family of a toddler who was abandoned at an Auckland Work and Income office.
The boy, who is 20-months old, was left in the Manukau branch by a man yesterday afternoon.
Officers have identified the man who they say abandoned him.
Police will work with Child, Youth and Family to investigate and say they will not be making further comment.
A Child, Youth and Family spokesperson said the toddler was safe and well.
The boy was earlier checked over at Middlemore Hospital.
