The 12-year-old girl injured when the Shotover Jet hit a rock on a river near Queenstown, remains in Southland Hospital where she will undergo further tests tomorrow.
The girl, who is visiting Queenstown from Australia with her family, was one of five people taken to hospital after the jet boat they were in hit a rock yesterday afternoon.

Police said the boat - carrying 14 passengers and a driver - hit a rock in the Shotover River about 4pm yesterday.
The girl, who is visiting Queenstown from Australia with her family, was one of five people taken to hospital after the jet boat they were in hit a rock yesterday afternoon.
The girl and her father were airlifted to Southland Hospital following the incident and she is expected to have a scan on her back tomorrow morning.
Shotover Jet manager Clark Scott said he understood the girl had bruising, but was likely to be okay.
The four others who were taken to hospital were discharged last night.
The driver of the boat was not on the water today and is helping authorities with the investigation.
Maritime New Zealand will be investigating and Shotover Jet manager Mr Scott said the company would also do its own internal investigation.
"We have comprehensive and extensive training, maintenance and a very, very, very comprehensive health and safety system. Anything like this is taken very, very seriously and no stone will be left unturned."
He cannot say how long either investigation will take.
Shotover Jet resumed tours today after receiving clearance from Maritime New Zealand.
