A sauna may be the cause of a fire at a house that is still ablaze north of Auckland.
Four fire crews were called to the two-storey home in Whenuapai at 11.20am.
Firefighters have asked a fire investigator to examine the cause of the fire, which was originally reported as being in a sauna attached to the house.
