Police have released the name of the woman killed in a head-on crash on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, north of Auckland.
Two other people were taken to North Shore Hospital with serious injuries following the crash at 5.30am today.
The key road on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula was closed for several hours between Marellen Drive and Glenelg Road.
The dead woman was 23-year-old Coral Jobsis, who was the sole occupant of the car.
The incident is being investigated by the Auckland Serious Crash Unit.
