Bail has been refused for the man accused of murdering a Wellington truck driver in December.
Bruce Coker was found lying in a street in Tawa with severe head injuries, and died three days later in hospital.
The 26-year-old man charged with his murder Cruz Murray appeared in the High Court at Wellington this morning and pleaded not guilty.
He has been remanded in custody and would reappear in court in April.
