A 19-year-old woman has appeared in the Hutt Valley District Court charged with the murder of 39-year-old Adam Watkins, who was found dead at a Taita house after a shooting last Thursday.
The mother and family of the accused woman yelled out their support to her in court and she waved back at them.
A 40-year-old man also appeared in court charged with being an accessory after the fact.
Both have been given interim name suppression and have been remanded in custody until 3 March, when they will appear before the High Court.
Their defence lawyers said bail applications would be filed before then.
A third man, who appeared in court on Saturday in relation to the death, has also been remanded in custody until 3 March.
