The police in Christchurch are appealing for sightings of a 70-year-old man missing in the Riccarton area since this afternoon.
Noel Noonan has a distinctive walk due to having Parkinson's disease, and needs medication every couple of hours to keep him mobile.
The police are concerned that Mr Noonan is lying or sitting down and unable to move.
Mr Noonan is described as 177 centimetres tall, slim, with blue eyes and fair skin.
When last seen, he was wearing three-quarter-length trousers.
