The police have arrested an eighth man over the kidnapping of two men in the Bay of Plenty.
The Armed Offenders Squad and other officers arrested the man after raiding properties associated with the Headhunters gang in Tauranga and Whakatane.
The police said the arrests followed an incident in which a man was kidnapped in Tauranga and another in Rotorua last month.
Seven men associated with the Headhunters gang were already facing charges of kidnapping, aggravated robbery and participating in organised crime.
