A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged with indecent assault, following an incident in Te Anau earlier this week.
The police have been investigating the incident at a Quinton Drive address in the early hours of Monday morning.
The man has been charged with indecent assault, assault with intent to commit sexual violation, and injuring with intent to cause injury.
A 26-year-old woman suffered injuries to her arm in the incident.
The man was being held in custody and was due to appear in the Invercargill District Court tomorrow.
