Police have seized $4000 worth of methamphetamine and synthetic cannabis from a house in Christchurch.
The Armed Offenders Squad executed a search warrant at a Linwood property around 7am today, and set up a cordon around the house.
Detective Sergeant Richard Quested said there were seven people at the property, including a young child and members of a local gang.
Police said while officers were there, a member of the public approached plainclothed officers saying they wanted to buy synthetic cannabis.
