Police say they believe alcohol was a factor in a crash last night, in which a man drove his car through an Auckland supermarket window.

A police spokesperson said the car went through the Mt Albert Pak n' Save, and took out some trolleys.
Foodstuffs spokesperson Antoinette Laird said the store had put tarpaulins up in the window today.
Ms Laird said nobody was injured in the crash.
