Police have named the three people who died in a two-car-crash on State Highway Three south of Marton yesterday.
They were Jennifer Susan Town, 41, of Wanganui, Zane William Town, 14, of Wanganui, and Judy Daryl Redfearn, 68, of Palmerston North.
The deaths have been referred to the Coroner.
Marton Police and the Serious Crash Unit are continuing to investigate the crash, in which a blue Holden carrying five people and towing a trailer collided with a Mazda with two passengers.
Police still want to identify the driver of a white van at the intersection of State Highway Three and Williamson Line at the time of the crash.
The crash was one of several yesterday, in which a total of eight people have died.
