Waikato District Health Board says it has been notified of two cases of measles in Hamilton in the same family.

One student attends Hillcrest High School and the other Berkley Normal Middle School.
The Hillcrest High student was not thought to have been infectious while at school and no quarantine measures were in place, apart from a letter to all parents alerting them to the case.
The Medical Officer of Health Dr Anita Bell said the Berkley student was at school while infectious but had no symptoms.
Berkley School will require students to remain at home until 22 May unless they had been immunised.
