A man being sought by police following an attempted abduction outside a school in Hastings yesterday has walked into a police station and is being interviewed.
Police had released photos of a man after a five-year-old boy was grabbed by the hand on his way to Primary School on King Street about 9am yesterday.
The boy cried out to his sister, who was walking ahead of him, and was let go.
Police say a man walked into the Hastings police station last night and is being interviewed. No charges have been laid.
