A 53-year-old man has been taken into custody after an alleged assault that led to an Armed Offenders Squad (AOS) callout on Auckland's North Shore, police say.
The police were called to an address in Camrose Place in Glenfield just after 10am.
A temporary cordon in the area has now been lifted and the AOS has been stood down.
Police said an injured man was receiving medical treatment and they were working to establish what happened.
St John Ambulance said it responded to a callout in the suburb just after 10am and a person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
