A woman's been killed after she was hit by a car north of Auckland.
It happened in Edmund Hillary Square in Orewa at about 1.30 pm and she died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit was investigating and Victim Support was working with witnesses and the car's driver.
The police have also named a man who was hit and killed by a truck in the central city last night.
He was Robert Su, who was 33-years-old and from Hillcrest.
The Serious Crash Unit has interviewed the truck driver and several witnesses.
