An elderly woman has died in hospital, almost a week after she was hit by a car in the Auckland suburb of Manurewa.
Noelline Sheppard, 86, was walking her dog on Russell Road last Thursday when she was hit by a car as she crossed the road.
She died on Tuesday at Middlemore Hospital.
The police say they are speaking to the driver of the car.
