Three men are being questioned by police after an armed offender call out on the Kapiti Coast, north of Wellington, this afternoon.
The police, who were called at about 1pm, were told that a man and a woman were travelling to a house in Waikanae in a white Subaru carrying drugs and guns.
They were told the pair intended to threaten someone at the house.
A cordon was set up and armed police watched as three men left the house.
They were apprehended at Peka Peka north of Waikanae.
The men, aged 27 to 40 and from and from Wellington, Porirua and Waikanae, are now in custody, and the house and car are being searched.
