Police have now formally charged a man with murder in relation to the death of a woman at a house in Dunedin.
Police said Vicki Lee Warrington, who was 48, was found dead at a house in Waldronville on Friday.
The 22-year-old man will appear in the Dunedin District Court tomorrow.
A second charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm has also been laid in regard to the injuries sustained by a man found outside the property.
Those injuries are not life-threatening.
About 20 investigators with other police staff and specialist teams, including from ESR, have been working on the case.
Police are asking for anyone who may have recently visited or been in contact with the occupants of 349 Brighton Road in Waldronville to contact them.
