2:53 pm on 25 July 2015

Two young women were forced off the street and into a vehicle in Auckland early this morning.

The women, aged 18 and 19, were dragged into the back seat of the vehicle by two men as they walked from down Queen St towards Wyndham St, while the driver remained at the wheel.

Auckland City Crime Squad Detective Nick Poland said the women were driven to the intersection of Greenlane West and St Andrews Rd where they were pushed out of the vehicle.

Police said the women were not assaulted.

Two of the men were described as Maori, both wearing black clothes, while the driver was described as a taller Caucasian wearing a black t-shirt and white pants.
