A second round of tests has failed to reveal how an Auckland pre-schooler died, police say.

Maggie Watson, 4, was found dead at her home in the suburb of Onehunga earlier this month.
Police were called by the girl's mother, and no one else is being sought in connection with the death.
Police said further tests carried out last week were inconclusive. Their investigation is ongoing.
Last week, more than 30 neighbours and church friends of the four-year-old held a vigil outside her Onehunga home.
