Hundreds of bullets have been found during a search of central Auckland property this morning.
Police said two women, aged 41 and 21, have been charged with possession of the ammunition that was found at the Karaka Street address.
Inspector Matt Srhoj said 375 rounds of ammunition were found at the house and a further 7 shotgun rounds were found in the car after a search warrant was executed at 6am.
He said the police were investigating why the women had so much ammunition and they would both appear in court next week.
