A woman found guilty of her role in a million-dollar tax fraud collected Working for Families credits during her offending.

Fenglan Liu was found guilty of 16 of 37 charges when she appeared in New Plymouth District Court today.
Her co-accused Jianbin Wang pleaded guilty to 58 charges earlier this year.
Between 2008 to 2011 the couple, who have two children, qualified for tax credits by declaring an annual income of $31,000, IRD said.
The IRD said it was owed $1.2 million.
Wang disputed this figure but Judge Allen Roberts today agreed with IRD.
Wang was sole director and shareholder of Top International Trading, which had three stores in New Plymouth, Waitara and Whanganui.
The couple will be sentenced on 26 November.
