Police in Dunedin want help to find a 52-year-old man who has been missing for more than a week.
Stephen Gourlay was last seen about 7pm on 18 December in the Ravensbourne area.
He is about 175cm tall and of a thin build, with grey hair and a sleeve tattoo on his forearm.
His family has said on social media that it is very out of character for him to have left the area, and he has failed to follow through on a number of plans with friends and family since 20 December.
The police said Mr Gouley often travels in the lower South Island, and has knowledge of Central Otago and the Waitaki Lakes area.
Anyone with any information on Mr Gourlay's whereabouts has been asked to contact the Southern Police District Command Centre on 03 471 5002.
