Five motorcyclists have been taken to hospital following a crash in Cheltenham, north of Feilding this afternoon.

The ambulance service said one person was in a serious condition, three were listed as moderate, and one minor.
All were taken to Palmerston North hospital by road.
The police said they were part of a large group of motorcyclists travelling together.
The Serious Crash Unit was at the scene and State Highway 54 was likely to be closed until about 5pm.
