An Oamaru man has been found guilty of raping several teenagers in his care while working for Child, Youth and Family.
Frank Russell Walmsley was convicted of 52 charges, including 14 counts of rape, several of sexual misconduct involving a minor and three counts of assault.
From 1999 to 2012, Walmsley worked in several jobs including as a carer for Child, Youth and Family.
During this period, the 56-year-old sexually assaulted eight teenagers, including two girls under the age of 12.
Walmsley will appear at the Timaru District Court on 24 June for sentencing.
