Name supression lifted for Hawke's Bay doctor

6:10 pm on 4 May 2016

A Hawke's Bay doctor facing charges of indecently assaulting patients has abandoned a name suppression bid and can be identified as David Lim.

Dr Lim was a GP at a Hastings clinic until police charged him last year.

He faces 13 charges of indecent assault on a male aged over 16 and of disabling and stupefying, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

Police allege there were four male victims.

He has surrendered his passport and is due to appear in court again next month.
