Tevita Filo, 24, appeared briefly at the High Court in Auckland today, where Justice Graham Lang lifted suppression orders covering Mr Filo's other charges.

As well as being charged with the murder of Joanne Pert earlier this year, Mr Filo is also charged with two indecent assaults, possession of a knife in public, three burglary charges and six charges of being unlawfully on private property .

According to the Crown's charge sheet notice, the offences were committed across Auckland in the hours before the murder of Ms Pert.

Mr Filo is due back in court for another hearing in August before his trial in November.

Ms Pert - a 41-year-old mother of two - was found dead outside a Shore Rd house in the wealthy Auckland suburb of Remuera in January. She did not know Mr Filo.
