Palmerston North man charged with girl's murder

A Palmerston North man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a three-year-old girl.
Kash McKinnon died at Palmerston North Hospital on Thursday last week. She was found with head injuries at a house in the city the previous day.
A man, 21, appeared in Palmerston District Court on Friday charged with her murder.
The man, whose name is suppressed, will reappear in court on 2 September.
