Fatal crash near Christchurch closes road

Police are investigating a fatal crash involving two cars near Christchurch on Sunday.
Police say one man has died, while two people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash happened just after 11am at the intersection of State Highway 73 and Buchanans Road.
State Highway 73 was closed after the crash, but has now reopened.
