Motorists are being warned to expect delays on one of Auckland's busiest sections of motorway.
Two lanes on the Auckland Harbour Bridge are being closed for maintenance for 11 days during the Christmas and New Year period.
The Transport Agency says the two southbound clip-on lanes on the bridge will be closed between 26 December and 5 January for annual resurfacing work.
Three lanes will remain open in both directions.
It says delays are possible and it is advising motorists to use alternative forms of transport such as buses and ferries.
The Shelly Beach Road off-ramp will also be closed and drivers will have to use the Fanshawe Street off-ramp.
