Police investigating the killing of a Feilding farmer are making inquiries in Invercargill.
Scott Guy, 31, was found shot dead at the end of his driveway early on 7 July.
Mr Guy and his brother-in-law attended a dairy conference in Invercargill between 21 and 23 June.
Police want to talk to anyone who spoke to Mr Guy during his time in Southland.
About 500 people attended the South Island Dairy Event.
Detective Inspector Sue Schwalger says they want to identify if there were any incidents that they are otherwise unaware of, as the conference was only two weeks before Mr Guy's death.
