Fresh call for help with search for missing lawyer

6:01 pm on 27 September 2010

Police investigating the disappearance of a Wellington lawyer and conservationist are renewing calls for anyone with information to come forward.

Robert Logan, who's 51, was reported missing on 27 August.

Later that day, his white 1991 Nissan Sunny stationwagon was found at the Owhiro Bay carpark. That sparked a big search of Wellington's south coast by police, Search and Rescue personnel and divers.

Senior Sergeant Simon Feltham says the search and subsequent enquiries have failed to turn up any clues.

He says police are increasingly concerned about Mr Logan's welfare, but there's nothing that suggests his disappearance was suspicious.
