Woman arrested following man's death

A woman has been charged with assault following the death of a man in East Auckland.
Officers were called to a house in Howick about 5pm on Wednesday, and found a man with critical injuries.
Police say it appears the man was stabbed. He died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Police say the woman they have charged is known to the dead man.
A forensic examination was taking place at the house on Thursday and the woman was due to appear at Manukau District Court.
