Hamilton police are investigating a home invasion in which a woman is believed to have been threatened with a gun.
They say the 19-year-old had just finished showering when she went into her kitchen and was confronted by two men wearing balaclavas.
The police say it appears the woman was assaulted and threatened with a firearm held to her head. They say the men fled the house after being spooked by a neighbour.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Bryant Road area shortly before and after 9.30am on Wednesday.
