An Armourguard van has been held up at gunpoint in West Auckland, police say.
The robbery took place outside a National Bank ATM in Glenmall Place, in Glen Eden.
The police are looking for two people and for a dark grey Subaru Legacy wagon they believe was used in the hold-up.
No-one was injured and the police say they do not know how much money was taken.
