The body of a man has been found in the Waikato River.
Police say it was discovered submerged near the Fairfield Bridge in Hamilton.
They were searching the river for Nicholas Atkins, 35, who has been missing for 11 days.
A formal identification is likely to be completed on Tuesday and it will be followed by a post mortem.
