Some train services in Wellington have been cancelled on Monday afternoon due to mechanical issues.
Services between Wellington and Porirua are cancelled and buses will be used instead.
The cancellations begin about 4.20pm and will continue until at least 6pm.
The 4.39pm train service from Wellington to Melling and the 5.04pm service from Melling to Wellington have also been replaced with buses.
Wellington to Taita train services will be cancelled between 5.50pm and 6.22pm due to a mechanical fault.
The Waikanae train line will stop at all stations.
