Halloween party shifts Occupy Wellington protests

Protesters have vacated their Occupy Wellington campsite on a city council green to make way for a Halloween party.

The group of 50 people moved from the Jack Ilott Green to the nearby City to Sea bridge on Sunday at the request of the council.

Council spokesperson Richard MacLean says the protesters will not be able to stay in the new location forever and will be spoken to in the coming days.
