A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a trailer in Wairarapa.
Part of State Highway 2 near Carterton was closed for a while following the accident.
Ambulance staff reported the crash at about midday.
Police says the motorcyclist died after his bike collided with the trailer near the intersection with Matarawa Road, south of the town.
Diversions are in place.
